Entering the secret passageway

Thankfulness is a secret passageway into a room you can’t find any other way. It is the wardrobe into Narnia. – Mark Buchanan

Crumbs: Evidence of once hungry bellies, now fully nourished.

Give thanks to the lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. (Psalm 107:1)

Sink full of dishes: A memory of meals shared, love given, joy abounding.

I breathe a sigh of gratitude.

Sticky floors: Proof of a mother’s courage, always growing. Following her heart’s whisper, not just a cleaning schedule’s demands.

Give thanks to the lord, for he is good!

Toy covered carpet: A story of two brothers, ever-growing, ever-learning.

I breathe a sigh of gratitude.

Over-flowing laundry baskets: Moments fully lived, come and gone. Evidence of a family’s health and strength.

Give thanks to the lord, for he is good!

Tired mother: One who loves fiercely, always.

I breathe a sigh of rest.

_

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Give thanks no matter what happens. God wants you to thank him because you believe in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
